Rotimi Adebanjo

Head, SADC Region

Rotimi Adebanjo is a seasoned business executive and strategic management professional serving as Group Head of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Region at eTranzact Global. He provides strategic leadership for the Group’s regional operations, market expansion, institutional partnerships and business development initiatives across Southern Africa. With extensive experience spanning financial technology, telecommunications, financial services and management consulting, he brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, organisational transformation and cross-border business development. Since joining eTranzact Global in 2009 as Regional Director, he has played an important role in advancing the Group’s regional presence, strengthening strategic relationships and supporting its vision of building an integrated African digital payments ecosystem.

Prior to joining eTranzact, Rotimi was an Associate Partner at Phillips Consulting Group, where he led major strategy, corporate restructuring and organisational development engagements for multinational organisations across Africa. He played a significant role in the establishment of MTN Nigeria and subsequently led strategic consulting and business expansion initiatives from South Africa, supporting organisations entering Southern and Eastern African markets. An engineer by profession, Rotimi holds an MBA in Finance from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), South Africa, and has undertaken executive and professional development programmes internationally. His combination of strategic leadership, operational expertise and extensive regional experience continues to support eTranzact Global’s growth, institutional engagement and long-term expansion across the SADC region.
